Cha! Cha! Cha!
I’ve probably blogged about Cha! Cha! Cha! before as I’m no stranger to their Broadway location, but yesterday we were hanging with pals downtown and decided to have lunch at their cozy little spot on NW Glisan (since my brilliant plan to go to the food carts on a Sunday was deflated for obvious reasons).
Renee and the Justin were said pals, whom we’ve known for quite awhile as they’re fellow Northern California ex-pats. We’ve always made jokes about the eerie similarities between our relationships– Renee and I being loud girls who tell exhaustingly long stories that hold way too many details; the Justin and Chris being calm, reserved boys who aren’t as excitable and would prefer it if we could finish our stories in 3 sentences or less.
This lunch date was no exception– both couples ordered a plate of nachos to share and two tacos. Copycats, I tell ya! Chris had the salmon taco and I had an asada taco. I believe Renee and the Justin also had an asada taco (hmmmm!) as well as one with carnitas.
Always a tasty meal at Cha! Cha! Cha! Plus, it’s just so much fun to say.
