Dinner 5-20-2010

Pizza made with Bob’s Red Mill’s Gluten-Free Pizza Crust Mix.

Toppings in order of appearance: Trader Giotto’s pizza sauce, parmesan, New Zealand White Cheddar, prosciutto, diced tomato, fresh basil, chevre, black pepper and garlic powder.

Normally we make our own cornmeal crust from scratch, but Chris picked this mix up at the store on accident so we decided to try something new. It was super easy to toss together, and better than any GF crust I’ve had at a pizzeria before.

Lunch 5-16-2010

Parmesan-butter fried red potatoes, with sauteed prosciutto, kale and parboiled green beans.

Lunch 4-24-2010

Extra firm tofu dry-fried in salt and pepper with white rice noodles, butter, parmesan and sauteed kale, walnuts and sundried tomatoes.

Lunch 4-18-2010

Asparagus and kale sauteed in butter and garlic mashed potatoes with sundried tomatoes.

You know those things people say about asparagus making your pee smell funny? It ain’t no lie.

Lunch 4-07-2010

Chris picked up a couple of those Glutino 3-cheese pizzas from the market the day before we left on our trip. We’re big fans of dressing up plain cheese pies with whatever fixins we have lying around in the fridge. In this case it was sundried tomatoes, scallions and minced onion (I also salt ‘n’ peppered mine, shhhhh!).
